"MMK" Teen-Rape Victim Episode Approved By MTRCB

ABS-CBN, "Maalaala Mo Kaya" finally got a signal from MTRCB to air the episode of a teen rape victim which earned a controversial criticism by the other viewers due to its sensitive theme. The episode, based on the true story of a teenage girl who was repeatedly raped, with the help of her own mother, will air this Saturday, June 30 after "Wansapanatym". It has now a rating of "SPG" after being thoroughly reviewed by the MTRCB that should be aired last June 2, 2012 but was previously marked as an X-rating by the said agency. It was written by Benson Logronio, and directed by Nuel Naval.
