The story goes when Janine del Castillo is one of Cebu’s most promising interior designers. She is engaged to Matthew de Vega, a handsome lawyer from a rich family. She seems to have a perfect life, until she finds out that her father has a terminal disease. He finally admits to Janine that she is the product of an illicit affair, and his dying wish is for her to meet her mother. And then, it leads her to the place where her mother is located and above all this, she met Jake, the person she soon fall inlove with. Upon their relationship, many trials encountered their ways which later on makes Janine realizes that soon, she will have to make a choice. Should she continue honoring her commitment to the man she is supposed to marry, or will she let herself find happiness in a man who loves her selflessly and lets her feel free?
In this television drama, actually I was not able to watch it fully but for me it is a so-so story about a family who is encountering difficult situations. For me, this series can happen in reality because it involves the family relationships. I learned from this drama that whatever mistakes you had done from the past, this mistake cannot define your whole being especially if you are the product of those mistakes. Many families here in our world encountering this kind of situation, believe it or not. Many families have their own secrets but I know that even some of us is experiencing this kind of situation, family is the most important thing for all of us. We should try to open our mind as well as our heart to know what family is really all about. :)
