Mogu-Mogu Madness

During my college days C2 fever errupts the beverage competition in the market and reigns for quite a long time. It has been a substitute for soda and water for some. Today, Mogu-Mogu just hit the Philippine shore and refreshes the thirst and taste of Filipinos. This product is made from Thailand. It is made from fruit juice blended with Nata de Coco. Yes! You heard it right, this product has Nata de Coco a by product originated from coconut, which we Filipinos love. It comes from 6 different flavors; Lychee, Grapes, Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple and Orange. It can be bought in Mini Stop, 7-11 and major supermarkets nationwide. It is a must try drink and I’m sure everybody will enjoy. Share your thoughts and comments about the product.

Note: Drink Responsibly (Due to its high Sugar content it is advisable to drink this product in moderation especially those people that has DM or other problems related to it.)

The Crucible: A True Story

I was searching for movies thru internet then this movie suddenly showed up. I read the synopsis and I got very interested cause I have read that this is a true to life story. Here comes the synopsis that I have read.

Kang In-ho (Gong Yoo) is the newly appointed art teacher at Benevolence Academy, a school for hearing-impaired children in the fictional city of Mujin, North Jeolla. He has a dark past - his wife was a high school student who committed suicide and his daughter is under the care of his mother. He is excited to teach his new students, yet the children are aloof and distant, trying to avoid running into him as much as possible. In-ho does not give up, however, trying to show the kids that he cares. When the children finally open up, In-ho faces the shocking and ugly truth about the school and what the students have been enduring in secret: the children are being physically and sexually abused by their teachers. When he decides to fight for the children’s rights and expose the crimes being committed at the school, In-ho teams up with human rights activist Seo Yoo-jin (Jung Yoo-mi). But he and Yoo-jin soon realize the school’s principal and teachers, and even the police, prosecutors and churches in the community are actually trying to cover up the truth. (wikipedia)

After watching the said movie, I felt sad. I was very sad for what happened to the deaf and mute children. Actually I asked myself if what do criminals like in this movie were thinking while they are doing this non-human act. I know that many criminals nowadays are spreading vigorously but why some of them were covered by our powerful government, community. I am not stereotyping, but why is it like this? Why do people find it difficult to open their eyes and be on the side of the victims who were abused not only physically and sexually but also emotionally and spiritually. I am against to those people who doesn't know how to be fair and how to be just. The said victims in this movie are not a normal person, they are hearing-impaired children that needs to be treated fairly and should be respected the way we want to be respected. I felt bad because of this because the crime was happened last 2005 and up until now, 2012,  they can't receive the right justice and infact the victims are the one who were being criticized. If I only have the power to punish the suspects, I will do my very best to make them suffer but what can I do, I am not residing there. I am not a citizen in Korea, all I can do is to write my reactions, suggestions, frustrations and comments here in my blog where I am hoping that if someone can read this, they will have the heart to respond those needy and can also make a move to stop the crime or just minimize it. All I can ask is just to have respect in every human and all things created by HIM. Is it difficult to give this "RESPECT" in every one of us?  Why committing crimes if later on you will condemned by HIM?? Are they not afraid of the "FINAL JUDGMENT"??? I know that this is not the first time a crime like this happened and this is not the only country who is experiencing it but I know that if we just open our eyes, ears and heart for all the people around us, this unfair justice will then be minimized.

LET US BE FAIR.
LET US HELP OTHERS TO RECEIVE JUSTICE.

CITY HUNTER: The Finale

City Hunter is a South Korean television drama series starring Lee Min Ho, Park Min Young, Lee Joon Hyuk, Hwang Sun Hee, Goo Hara and Lee Kwang Soo. It is based on the Japanese manga series City Hunter written and illustrated by Tsukasa Hojo. It was aired here in the Philippines last January 2012 and ended now, April 13, 2012. It was known as the most expensive korean drama at all times and i think i agree with that.haha. Honestly, I already watched City Hunter before it aired here in the Philippines because I am a fan of korean dramas, especially I am an avid fan of Lee Minho. :)
Anyway, at first, I thought the story of the drama is boring coz i am not into action drama but when i continued watching it, my point of view about the story changed. I found myself so excited waiting for the City Hunter's next move. Actually for me, watching it will make you feel smart cause you will think of what will be the next strategy City Hunter will use to catch the culprit of 1983 Covert Operation. It was so heartpounding and so heart breaking especially when the prosecutor died, when City Hunter found out that the president is the last target person and he is his father and most of all when Jin Pyo died proclaiming he is the City Hunter just to have Lee Min Ho live with a normal life. It so heartbreaking.... My mother also cried because of that..hahaha

Excellent Drama for me, eventhough the last scene was left hanging, actually I really hope that there is someone like City Hunter here in the Philippines not just to solve political trouble but also the increasing crime rate happening here in the Philippines..haha.. Don't get me wrong, Im just stating facts..haha. How I wish there is City Hunter here! :)

The rating of this drama for me is 5/5
Excellent work Korea! :)

REVIEW: Angelito Ang Batang Ama (The Finale)

Angelito: Ang Batang Ama aired last November 2011 on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold. The story of this series is all about a teenager named Angelito(JM de Guzman) who develops a relationship with his classmate, Rosalie(Charee Pineda). They had a secret relationship because Angelito's friend Roland(Matt Evans) who is also Rosalie's brother is against it. Family problems were encountered by Rosalie and the only person that she can count on is Angelito, later on their relationship gets deeper and they did a mistake that changed their life forever. Rosalie got pregnant, Angelito is the father, and the story begins....

Almost 5 months, the series aired with a story that some people might understand and relate to the story of the main character. The story is so heartwarming cause we all know that it can happen in reality. The series gave us a lesson especially those teenagers that are misleading.
I admired how Jenny (Kaye Abad/ the new girlfriend of Angelito) sets Angelito free, it is so heartbreaking, she just showed her love to Angelito in her pure way as well as Rosalie, and now the desicion is all on Angelito.
At the end of the story, Angelito will seek for Rosalie because he listened to his heart and realized that all he needs in his life is his own family with Rosalie and Jun-jun around, it just only shows that family should always stay together and even if someone is hindering their relationship, they will still be intact at the end.

I enjoyed watching it the whole time it aired and I can say that in this series, the main characters did a great job portraying their roles. And now, Angelito will end which will leave a mark to all televiewers out there on how to be a responsible parent, stand up for their dignity, love endlessly and most of all to have faith, that in every problems that we will encounter, every mistake we make, there will always have a chance to stand up and become a better person and I salute this drama for that.

I will rate this Drama 5/5

Share your comments for this drama too... :)

DREAM HIGH SEASON I versus DREAM HIGH SEASON II

Watching korean drama is a must for me.hahaha. I just find relaxing watching it. Well, I am here to just compare the difference between Dream High Season I to its Season II. Yes, you heard me right!! I know its not good to compare but I just can't help myself.hahaha.

Well, Dream High Season I is one of my favorite drama ever! I was amazed how the 6 young main characters portray their role very well. I was taken away by their hunger to achieve their dreams and made  me think that "DREAM IS JUST ONLY A DREAM IF YOU DON'T TAKE IT BY HEART, IF YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO ACHIEVE IT". I don't know why but I just loved this drama so I am seriously hoping that in Season II, i will feel the same way.

In Season II, I admit that the new characters were a bunch of good lookings, they acted well especially the main characters, their songs were good and so nice to hear but in the end, I felt nothing on the story. I just don't like the flow of the story. The lucky pendant is not totally emphasized which I think should be a highlight to the story, the series ended so soon that it seems like the ending of the story has no impact at all that when I hear the theme song of the series, I just remember the Season I and not the Season II. The story of the Season II is not as effective as compared to the first season.

My rating for Season I is still 5/5
My rating for Season II is 3/5

I am not being biased, actually I also asked my friends who had watched both seasons and they also felt the same way, just watch both and I would also like to hear from you... Thank You! :)
